Here at Altaros Regulators, we feel that what makes our regulators better for the end user than our competitors. Firstly is that our regulators place minimum demands on the skills and equipment needed for installation. Our regulators have a very precise output pressure, often achieves consistency between 1-3bar (14.5 – 43.5 psi), which has a very positive impact on the projectile’s consistency of speed, which varies by only +/- 1-1.5 mps (+/- 3-5 fps).
Our regulator’s main feature is that they require no permanent modifications on your airgun, so you can revert your mechanism and airtube to its original state at any time during or after installation! Unlike our competitor’s regulators, there is never a need to drill any holes at all.
Installation is simple! In short, all you need to do is: first drain all pressure from airtube, unscrew the valve body from the air tube. Spray o-rings with silicone oil, then push regulator inside airtube (with circular movement like when you screwing valve, this movement will prevent damaging outer o-ring on regulator) in such depth so you can see 1/2 thread inside airtube. Remove o-ring from valve and screw valve back in airtube. By screwing plug we get regulator into correct position. Do not tight airtube and valve fully. Leave gap 0.1-0.2 mm between them, by doing this and removing o-ring from valve you creating venting hole (with this is no drilling to airtube needed).
**NOTE: After installing pressure regulator, you can not never fill airtube throught regulator, always use quickfill!!
